Ballet and Pointe
Rebecca Cornett began dancing in Simsbury Ct. where she has studied various styles including ballet, jazz, modern and pointe. She received her training at: at Fort Lauderdale Ballet Classique with Magda Aunon, Hartt School with Miguel Campaneria, Boston Ballet School, and the Pacific Northwest Ballet School She won the bronze medal in 2010 at the World Ballet Competition and did several dance competitions when she was younger inclucing Dance Masters of America’s title competition. She has worked with several choreographers including Greg Dolbashian and Tom Gold. She joined the St. Louis Ballet Company in 2014. She has danced various roles such ass the Turning Girl in George Balanchine’s Who Cares?, Neapolitan in Gen Horiuchi’s Swan Lake, Winter Fairy in Gen Horiuchi’s Cinderella, and Princess Florine in Gen Horiuchi’s the Sleeping Beauty.
